Since the Lenovo 3000N200 0769-AUU Notebook can’t boot, the user of
this laptop has a suspect it HDD is dead. This problem is come right
after he closed the laptop’s lid to quit. When the Lenovo 3000 was
boot to the XP splash and reboot, usually it will goes to the safe
mode. But now it’s not, the laptop won’t boot using safe mode. And
also, when inserting another HDD SATA without Lenovo driver software
an error message said the NT LDR is missing.
If you suggest the Lenovo 3000 n200 HDD is failed run, better scan the
hard drive for boot sector using Recovery Partition software from the
original HDD that usually came with the Lenovo. But it’s recommended
using HDD Regenerator for it, although not free but it has a great
result. To make it work you need to create a bootable CD or USB with
HDD Regenerator. And then after boot the 3000 n200 notebook with the
boot media, you only need following the simple dialogue.
However, you can still able to use the trial version of HDD
Regenerator that you can free download from download.com. But the
trial version of HDD Regenerator will scan and repair only the first
bad sector. And the one important thing, don’t forget to disable AHCI
in the Lenovo 3000N200 0769-AUU bios system to get rid of “NT LDR”
message if you want to install Windows into a new SATA hard drive.
