Ejecting From Advanced Minidock Lenovo Thinkpad T61
Posted by: admin In: Lenovo Laptops
After bought Lenovo Thinkpad T61 laptop, the user try to make it undock by put it in standby, so he can pressing button 1 on the advanced minidock. And he did, after returning back to standby the lights of minidock is on indicate that it’s ready to eject. Seem all works well as he thought except one. When change the laptop setting which meant
he can press button 1 on the dock when the T61 is awake and it will enter standby and undock. This is obviously faster than the original method.
Normally, the most user of T60 laptop will undock their laptop with the lid is open. However if you want to eject T60 from the advance minidock you can try this setting:
Click “Advanced” under the Power Manager/Global Power Settings.
Make sure “undock action” is set to standby.
And now each time restarted the T61 laptop, button 1 on the minidock will be press and the system will go into standby and ready to eject.
