How To Install Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP Service Pack 3

Basically Windows XP SP3 isn’t support Internet Explorer 7. If you
want to install IE 7 to the computer that there was already installed
XP with the service pack 3 you need to modification the registry
because it doesn’t compatible. However you need to install SP3 after
installing Internet Explorer 7.
Here’s some registry you need to modification to make the computer
available Internet Explorer 7 on XP SP3:
-From the computer go to menu Start and Run
-There is on the Run pop up box typing “regedit” and press OK button.
-Scroll down to the find key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Interface \ (34A715A0-6587-11D0-924A-0020AFC7AC4D)
-Right-click on that key and select Permission
-Check the permissions for any user specified in the window.
Now you can close all applications running and restart the machine if
need it. After the computer back on you can run the Internet Explorer
7 installation.
Attention:
It was better to back up the registry each time you want to modify it.

In the registry window, simply click File and choose Export, there you
can save the registry to any place as you want. Just remember the file
location so you can easy to find each time you need it.
