Boot Camp used as the assistant for installed Windows XP on iMac often
caused of internet explorer running failed. Broadcom and Marvel
Ethernet have a yellow color checked in Device Manager shown that they
have installed incompletely. Some people who experience in this
problem said that they’re able to connect to the wireless router only
by using in iMac, but failed while running with IE or Mozilla Firefox

To resolve problem of internet because of installed Windows XP using
Boot Camp, you need to completely installed Broadcom and Ethernet,
here’s the following ways:
Right click on My Computer and go to Properties
Choose the Hardware tab and click Device Manager
There is + beside Network Adapters, click it
Right click the Broadcom Adapter and
Go to Update Driver and put your OSX Disc to the computer
Choose “Yes, This time only.”
Choose “Install from a list or specific location.”
Choose “Don’t search. I will choose the driver to install.”
In the next steps you should choose Broadcom driver selected.
Finished this steps by click Next and see update running progress.
Once successful you should get a message “driver update successful.”
And now, your Broadcom was completely installed and ready to run. To
remove the yellow sign on your Marvel Ethernet, you can just repeat
these steps above with the Marvel Ethernet driver and your problem
about internet explorer should be fixed now.
