There is a very common problem that happens to the HP Pavilion DV2626tx when the user decides to upgrade their Windows Vista to Microsoft Windows 7. Even though the installation is done properly, the common problem of display is still occurring. The problem is especially on the BIOS Post that is not appeared and the screen will stay black on the booting process.

The problem of disappearing BIOS Post in the booting process can be caused by the Windows 7 OS that brings the BIOS crash. Yet, this problem is not the easy one to be solved, since not all HP Pavilion DV2626tx got crashed when it is used Windows 7.

One thing that can be done to fix the problem of BIOS post on the HP Pavilion DV2626tx that is used Windows 7 is by updating the BIOS. The internet is the solution to update the BIOS, by visiting the HP official site. In the site, you will be able to get the F.2E BIOS update easily. After the downloading is complete, the user will be able to install it. You should not worry if you find that some file works for Windows Vista. It is fine since it will work properly on Windows 7 as well.

There are some common issues that are faced by the user of the HP Pavilion DV2700. The most common one is the trouble on disabling HP Pavilion power on button password. It is very often that this problem occurred because of some errors that occurred to the laptop. There are some steps that can be used to fix this annoying problem on HP Pavilion DV2700.

The first step that can be very helpful in solving the problem is by shutting the computer down first. After you are sure that the computer is off, you should disconnect all the external devices that connect to the computer or laptop. The next thing that should be disconnected from the computer is the power. This can be done by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, then the AC adapter from the computer.

The battery should also be removed along with the RTC battery. After you are sure that you have disconnected every single external device well, then you should wait for the computer to be stable once more for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, you should replace the RTC battery and reassemble the computer to any other external devices. After you reconnect the AC battery, you should check for the entire password and CMOS settings are cleared.

Physical media controls buttons like volume up/down, motion eye camera, anything, all works fine. The only annoying issue is the Alps touchpad does not work at all.

The Vaio VGN-FZ140 Alps touchpad not listed in the Device Manager under Mice/Pointing Devices. To make it recognize, he attempted installing the Vista driver from the Sony website but it has nothing. This time he use external USB mouse as well and it runs well.

Using Windows 7 RTM on Sony Vaio is actually the easy one. Every installed program has been run well. But, it is still in a little difficult problem only in display driver. The problem is in the brightness and sleeping computer. Actually, it is caused by the NVIDIA. I found this cause when I realize that by the installed NVIDIA driver in my computer, it will be uncontrolled of its brightness. Not only that, the windows power setting and the FN key also cannot work. But, when the NVIDIA has removed, the brightness would be able to work well and the sleeping function will be in problem.

Finally, I found the solver for this my problem. And of course, I would like to share with you. Because the problem is caused by the installed NVIDIA, it must be solve through the NVIDIA too. In the Windows Device Manager, you only need to disable the NVIDIA. But, you have not to uninstall it, only disable. Then, in the Windows Services, you also need the same thing. It is by disabling and stopping the NVIDIA Display Driver Service. Those two ways may be the simple tips for you in solving your display problem.

Having the Windows 7 may give so many advantages to many people. Thus many of them are moving to use the Windows 7 to have the best performance with their computer desktop or laptop. But it does not mean that the great Windows 7 has no problem. Many people reports that there are so many cases or problem with their Windows 7. These problems are so typical that so many people report the same, and they try to seek for the way out to solve this problem.

One of the problems is the problem that they face when they install the Windows 7. Very often that the Windows 7 suddenly hangs at the “completing installation”. Many people get stressed with this since they may experience failure so many times that makes them post their problem on the Internet to seek for help.

There is way out of this problem, involving the part where you are asked, “Where do you want to install Windows.” Most people will just format the partition that they want and click “next”. This is the one that make the problem happening. The solution is then by not just hit the “format”. By selecting “delete” and then “allocate” then you will be able to avoid this general problem.
