High temperature problem on Dell XPS M1530 might caused of the system
is throttling back to save itself from self-destruction. Since the
Dell XPS M1530 user found that his M1530 lagging when the ACPI hits 96
Celsius degrees, he’s worried about his laptop as it doesn’t know

When the ACPI hits 204F or 96C during play the games on M1530, the

ACPI is advanced configuration and power interface, it’s a
hardware/software combination used by Windows to manage various
aspects of power and other hardware management. Whenever system is

is supposed to do.
The common causes of overheating on Dell XPS M1530 and other laptops are:
- Dust accumulation on the heatsink/fan assembly.
- Faulty fan
- Misuse of the system such on a lap, chair or other soft surface.
