Go to Start => Control Panel. Change it to Classic view for better manage.
Go to Folder Options => General (Tab)
Mark the “Double-Click to open an item (single click to select)”
Click Apply and hit OK button
Back to Control Panel => Mouse => click on the Pointer Options (Tab)
Here the only thing you need to check marked is “Enhance pointer precision”
Click Apply
Now look at the tabs at top and click on Wheel
Under the Vertical Scrolling click “One screen at a time”
Click Apply and hit OK button
Restarted your Inspiron 1520 and make sure this setting didn’t change back.
