Other problem found at the Dell Inspiron 1525 is the laptop was
shutting down very slowly. Frequently when switching users it would
cause the screen of Inspiron 1525 goes blank and even sometimes it
would crash when shutting down. All these problems were apparently
caused by the ethernet controller driver.
Dell currently is working on a solution. In the meantime, there is a
workaround. So you can try to resolve the problem of very slowly or
crash during shutdown at Inspiron 1525 by configure the option
setting:
- Go to Device Manager and double click on your wireless network card
(under Network Adapters)
- Click the Power Management tab
- Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.
If the problem still comes in the Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, the next
step you can do to resolve is downloading the latest driver for the
Marvell Wireless Ethernet Controller. Here’s the link
Marvell official website you can visit.
