The screen on Acer Aspire 5315 laptop is black and no worth when it user trying the brightness button. But it works fine when connected to an external screen. This 5315 owner said he’s then used system restore to an earlier point and the main screen came on. Seems all is fine till he saw the download icon appeared on the bottom of the Aspire screen, once any laptop’s system activities finished the Aspire 5315 screen stopped working.
The one thing that able to see the external screen is while using Aspire 5315 in safe mode, beside the laptops screen will not work at
all. Except it, the screen always displays “no signal” when start windows normally. And again when tried an earlier restore point, this
way no longer works.
If this screen problem come to your Aspire 5315, first of all be sure you don’t have an input problem on your 5315 laptop while you are testing it. The input button or switch view should be accessible via the Fn button and the F3-F8 on the keyboard.
Other solution you should know is it seems you experience some driver issues, but the driver should work for both devices. It’s possible that your laptop screen or inverter is defective. But before saying so, be sure to try to switch views while you got the external monitor plugged in and see what happens. If only your external monitor works fine, you may have to replace some hardware in your Acer Aspire 5315 laptop.
